I've also seen it called "Japanese text" and "80s text". The typical vaporwave text style that this translator helps you convert normal text into is used in song titles, vaporwave art, aesthetic YouTube videos, and all over the vapor scene. The way this generator creates vaporwave letters is by using the unicode standard which contains "full-width" characters which are wider than usual, or rather, have larger spaces in between the letters. The full-width characters used in vaporwave text have their origins in Asian computer systems where the traditional Asian symbols would generally be considered "full-width" characters, but the latin script characters could be fit into half-width blocks because of their relatively smaller size. This is a simple vaporwave text generator which allows you to input normal text and it will output a vaporwave font style (It's still text, but it looks like a different font, and is often call the aesthetic font).
